I am a self taught artist. Colours tells the most profound tale of happiness within my soul. Art is a meditation for me and it brings forth the spirit. Nature is a great and strong inspiration for artists like me to work. I like to work with different mediums and forms like acrylic, oil, Tanjore painting, madhubani and marble painting. I have exhibited my painting at the events like U N Charity Bazar, Jakarta, Indonesia, International Women's club, Staying in different countries for 3 years posting at a stretch, found my way to be connected with arts in countries like Abidjan Ivory coast, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Pakistan and Geneva, Switzerland. Sometimes used to teach Tanjore paintings to interested people. Also displaysed my art at Delia School of Canada, Hong Kong. In the year 2015, returned back to Delhi after husband got retired from his service at the Ministry of External affairs. And again got connected to different art groups and exhibited my work in Galleries of Delhi, Jaipur and Kerala. Now at the age of 63, still my passion continues.
